Machines and molds that use the Ritemp Conformal Mold Cooling System must be registered with Ritemp™.
•
Registration Plates will be provided by Ritemp™. These must be fixed to the machine and to each mold as
proof of registration. They must be visible from the operator's side of the machine.
•
Training in the use of the System will be provided by Ritemp™. It is the Licensee's responsibility to ensure that
those personnel who operate and maintain the System are provided with the necessary equipment and training
to do so.
•
Licensees are responsible for ensuring that the designers of their molds are qualified to apply the Ritemp™
System to their mold designs and that the molds are manufactured to those designs.
•
Apart from those factors that are under the control of Ritemp™, Ritemp™ takes no responsibility for the design
or manufacture of the tooling.
Licensing Conditions Apply
Molds that are designed to be used in a “Ritemp™ Ready” machine need only 2 or 3 hoses to be
connected to each platten assembly, to provide the best possible mold temperature control using very
simple fully conformal cooling chambers.
A Ritemp™ Ready molding machine is one which is licensed and equipped to take advantage of the
Ritemp™ Conformal Cooling System.
•
The heart of the technology is an efficient, compact heat exchanger mounted on top of each
machine platen and a coolant pressure cycling pump mounted on the underside of each
platen.
•
An electronic controller is used to control the flow of cold water through the heat exchanger
(“Die Temps” not required). It also controls the cycle timing of the pump.
•
Ritemp™supplies the equipment. The capacity, and hence the size and cost of each
installation depends on the size of the machine being equipped.
•
The price of the installation will include a license for each machine that is so equipped. That
license will require an annual renewal fee equal to 5% of the installation price. (POA).
•
When this simple installation is complete, the machine is “Ritemp Ready”.
None of its original functions are affected. Its capabilities are simply enhanced.
•
Each mold that uses the Ritemp Conformal Cooling System also requires a license. The cost
will depend on the size of the machine that uses it. The early adopter price is US$20 per ton,
to the nearest 100 tons.

The technology is protected worldwide by the approved patent application number
PCT/AU2020/051285.
Mold designers will be trained and licensed as accredited Ritemp™designers with technical
backup provided by the Ritemp™team. This includes an audit service to ensure that each mold
design meets Ritemp’s standards.
